40 Ans de Découvertes

Victor worked by his father's side for 15 years. They were at once father and son, mentor and apprentice, becoming an inseparable duo that evolved together over the years. For them, the gallery was always more than just an exhibition space: it was a sacred place where they revealed their latest discoveries, where eras and styles converged to tell a story of aesthetics in constant motion — the "Goût Gastou", or Gastou taste.
"What a privilege it has been to inherit such a boundless legacy, never fixed, always evolving—a legacy that allowed me to express myself and find my own place. To discover and, in turn, present artists who left me in awe. What a magical fate, to spend an entire life hunting, exploring, championing creators, blending eras and styles. This love of contrasts, of dialogue between past and present, between iconic pieces and hidden treasures — that is what still drives me today."
- Victor Gastou
To celebrate these 40 years of discoveries, this exhibition is a way to look back on the path traveled, to share the passions and encounters that have shaped the gallery’s story. A tribute to an eye, to Yves, to his vision, and to the adventure Victor continues to write, always with the same curiosity and the same passion.
